First Steps Training Held February 1st & 2nd in San Jose, CA
At our Recent First Steps Coaching and Training Event in San Jose we trained 9 church planting coaches and provided strategic church planting training to 28 planters who are already planting, about to plant, or considering becoming church planters.
Gary Rohrmayer, who is a leader in church planting both nationally and regionally, taught about those crucial first steps that any planter needs to take to develop a new congregation.
Here are some comments from participants about what they came away with.
“ A well thought through guide of how to begin really thinking and strategizing through church planting.”
“I was amazed at the level of detail the training covered . . . I am sure will be of great help for some one like me to have it as a reference guide to for my church planting work.”
“The understanding that church planting is a process that involves many people in addition to the church planter . . . I also felt that interacting with other current and future church planters, and sharing ideas and experiences, was helpful and enriching.”
“This is a great seminar that I would recommend every pastor take every few years.”
We plan to hold First Steps here on the West Coast once a year to make this training more accessible to our leaders.
